Are you looking for a good vacation destination, where you can enjoy with friends and family? Come to Buffalo, the city on the Lake Erie shores. The city was the industrial capital of New York during the early 20th century and hold good importance even in the present time. I like this city a lot as it has a great history and reflects the wonderful art deco architecture and beaux arts. The city has many things to offer to tourists coming here, like 398-ft art deco City Hall, Martin House, the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Darwin D, Art Gallery Albright-Knox, Greek Revival museum having the work of Warhol and Picasso.
Some famous spots of Buffalo include
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House Complex
This is a historical place and you get lots of information here. The innovative design of complex defines the ideal Prairie-style. I spent around 3 hours in complex and didn’t get bored.
Albright-Knox Art Gallery
This is an art gallery and it has modern art and contemporary art. The gallery is presently located near Buffalo State College.
The zoo is well maintained and a nice place for a family outing. The charge to visit the zoo is $8 for adults. I came here just because it is the second largest tourist attraction point in West New York and I find this really worth visiting.
Buffalo Naval Park
The former name of this park was Buffalo Naval and Servicemen’s Park. Though it has a suffix park, primarily it is a museum, so don’t get confused. The museum has warships of the navy. The museum is located at the Lake Erie shore that gives it a beautiful look.
